Scandanavian esports organisation Heroic has announced a partnership with Spanish sportswear brand Joma.
As a result of the deal, the brand has manufactured Heroic’s new ‘Pro Kit’ line and the organisation’s 2024 esports jersey.
Prior to the official announcement, Heroic and Joma teased the deal with the assistance of content creators MarteY0 and Henrik Jordal earlier in the month via a short-form video. The apparel range will include stage wear, travel kits and workout apparel.
In addition to manufacturing the apparel, Joma will become the official technical sponsor of Heroic. In March 2024, the organisation also partnered with cryptocurrency betting platform Thunderpick in a multi-year deal.
The first quarter of 2024 has been busy for Heroic. In March, the organisation left ESL Pro League’s Louvre Agreement. Moreover, Krystian Jaroszynski, formerly at game publisher Level Infinite, joined the organisation as its Chief Commercial Officer.
In addition to securing new partnerships, Heroic continues to expand its involvement in various esports titles. Alongside Counter-Strike, Fortnite, and sim racing, the organisation expanded into Dota 2 in January 2024 to field a team in the South American circuit.
Jaroszynski, Heroic’s Chief Commercial Officer, spoke on the deal: “Partnering with Joma is a really significant step for Heroic.
“It was very important for us that we find a clothing manufacturer that can simultaneously improve the quality of our products while keeping the price level accessible for fans without sacrificing manufacturing standards. Joma does all this, and we’re really pleased to have them join Team Heroic.”
