Korean instant noodle brand Nongshim has been announced as the official partner for Die Techniker Prime League, the official League of Legends league for the DACH region.

As the league’s main partner, the noodle brand will work with the league’s organiser Freaks 4U Gaming on activations. Plans detailing the activations were not disclosed.

Nongshim is the largest instant noodle and snack brand in South Korea, and also a company that already has interesting ties to esports. The company acquired the South Korean esports organisation Team Dynamics in 2020 and has operated the Nongship RedForce esports team in the LCK (Korea’s League of Legends league) ever since.

The partnership with Freaks 4U Gaming marks the South Korean brand’s entry into the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) market. Freaks 4U Gaming’s Chief Revenue Officer, Andreas Meister, noted that Nongshim’s extensive esports experience will surely help to lift the Prime League, one of the main regional leagues in Europe.

The Prime League is part of Riot Games’ ERL system, together with other leagues from several European countries. The Prime League recorded just over 80,000 peak viewers for its last split, which was in line with Spain’s Superliga.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
