Chinese electronics company OXS has announced a new, budget-oriented gaming headset called the OXS Storm G2 Wireless.

The headset is available through Amazon and the OXS website and comes with a range of gaming-focused features for a competitive price of around £79.99.

OXS is a relatively unknown brand to Western audiences, and the Storm G2 is its first dedicated gaming headset aimed at the US and UK markets.

The headset boasts an impressive feature set for its low price, with a 1000 mAh battery, virtual 7.1 surround, several EQ presets and three-way connectivity through Bluetooth, wired connection and 2.4GHz.

OXS provides a dongle for a 2.4GHz connection in the box, as well as charging and USB-C cables and a carrying bag. A really interesting feature is the addition of 50mm drivers that should, in theory, offer slightly better performance than smaller-sized ones.

The price point makes the Storm G2 a direct competitor to the likes of Razer’s Blackshark V2 X, Kraken V3 X, Astro A10 and other budget offerings from well-known brands. Of course, OXS does not have the brand recognition of some of its rivals, but the Chinese company aims to apply the tried and true approach of offering abundant features for a low price.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
