EA Sports, the creators of the Madden NFL franchise of sports games, have partnered with Florida-based Full Sail University for the Madden Championship Series 2025 (MCS 25).

The partnership will see the university host all of the MCS 25 regular season events in its dedicated esports arena, called the Full Sail University Orlando Health Fortress.

The two partners have agreed to host a total of six Madden events in the arena, the entirety of the MCS season apart from the Grand Finals which will take place during the Super Bowl weekend in February 2025. Two of the events will be open to the public, the first being the Kickoff Challenge. During the live events, fans will also be able to participate in mini games and activations on the university.

The events include the Kickoff Classic on September 4 and four challenges called the Kickoff Challenge, Most Feared Challenge, Unstoppable Challenge and Zero Chill Challenge. To round the MCS season up, the MCS 25 playoffs will also take place at the Full Sail University in late January 2025, ahead of the Super Bowl.

In addition to the events taking place on campus, Full Sail has announced that its students will be helping in the broadcast and production segments, thus providing the students with real-world experience of working at a large esports event. In addition, the MCS team will also contribute to a scholarship fund for students.

John P. Saboor, Executive Director, Head of Partnerships at Full Sail University, said: “We continue to be laser focused on aligning Full Sail and its students with the world’s most successful brands, and this partnership with EA Sports Madden NFL Esports will serve as an amazing opportunity to create real-world experience for our students to learn alongside some of the industry’s most talented professionals. “
