Analytics tool Oracle’s Elixir has expanded into VALORANT, with data provided by game data platform GRID.

The tool will be in use for VALORNAT Champions 2024, the game’s biggest international event that is taking place in Seoul, South Korea, throughout August.

The tool is renowned for providing special and advanced metrics for Riot Games’ other flagship esports title, League of Legends. Oracle’s Elixir will bring metrics such as a Rounds Above Replacement (RAR) rating system in VALORANT, providing better insights into players’ individual performances.

The models and metrics will utilise GRID’s official esports data which is available on the GRID data platform to maintain accuracy and reliability. Aside from its endeavours in VALORANT and League of Legends, GRID launched the first-ever data portal for Rainbow Six Siege esports professional teams by partnering up with Ubisoft.

Founded back in 2015, Oracle’s Elixir has been a key player in esports analytics. The tool’s founder, Tim ‘Magic’ Sevenhuysen, counts nearly a decade of experience when it comes to working with esports data, having previously worked at North American organisation 100 Thieves as Director of Esports Analytics. Earlier this year, he joined GRID as a Senior Business Data Consultant.

“One of the main reasons I wanted to build Oracle’s Elixir for VALORANT was to show how the GRID Data Platform can help grow the overall esports scene and benefit teams, fans, and everyone else,” said Sevenhuysen. “Access to official data is imperative for accurate and reliable stats.”
