Peripherals and hardware brand Razer has announced the newest edition of its Wolverine Xbox controller, called the Wolverine V3 Pro.

The new Wolverine edition is Razer’s first-ever wireless Xbox controller and features an array of pro-oriented features. The controller will be priced at £199.99.

The Wolverine series of controllers is the company’s main series of wired and wireless gaming controllers. The lineup features controllers aimed at Xbox, PC and PlayStation players, however, the current Wolverine V3 Pro is only aimed at PC and Xbox users, with the V2 Pro officially licensed for PS players.

The new controller features were co-developed with Eric ‘Snip3down’ Wrona, a former Call of Duty professional who most recently took to Apex Legends, playing for the likes of TSM and FaZe Clan. In addition to working with Razer on the controller, Wrona has also joined the company’s Team Razer roster.

The controller itself can be used in both wired and wireless modes and features four paddles on the back end of the controller that can be mapped to preference, along with two extra bumper buttons on the rear of the controller for a total of six extra buttons. The controller’s underside also features sliding locks that can be used to tailor the depth of the main triggers, allowing one to be shorter, and other one longer, for example.

Players can also change the thumbstick caps for precision or speed, and the controller also features a dedicated tournament mode that allows for a 1000Hz polling rate. A Tournament Edition of the controller is also available, which only offers wired connectivity.
