Red Bull announces T1 Rose Together documentary

Global energy drink brand and entertainment company Red Bull has announced an upcoming documentary, called T1 Rose Together.

The feature-length documentary will focus on South Korean esports organisation T1‘s League of Legends team and will tell the story of the roster’s win at the 2023 Worlds.

The movie, created by Red Bull’s Red Bull Media House, is set to premiere on September 20th globally, but will also be screened in a total of 37 locations across South Korea between September 4th and September 18th. Red Bull will also create a custom can to accompany the release of the documentary.

The movie tells the story of T1’s 2023 season, starting at the 2022 edition of the League of Legends World Championship (Worlds) across all splits of the LCK before finishing at the 2023 edition of the Worlds, where T1 lifted Worlds trophy. According to Red Bull Media House, the movie shows the details surrounding T1’s losses at the 2023 LCK Spring, MSI and LCK Summer.

T1 Rose Together includes insight from the T1 players; Choi “Zeus” Woo-je, Mun “Oner” Hyeon-joon, Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok, Lee ‘Gumayusi’ Min-hyeong, and Ryu ‘Keria’ Min-seok, along with members of the player’s families, coaches, casters and other notable people surrounding the team.

The global premiere of the documentary will happen just five days before the start of the 2024 World Championship, a tournament that is set to begin on September 25th with the Play-In stage and finish with the Grand Finals on November 2nd. The Grand Finals will take place at the O2 Arena in London.
