Esports odds provider Abios has announced a partnership with Swedish state-owned gambling company Svenska Spel to provide the company with its esoccer offering.

This deal will mean that Svenska Spel will have access to a Abios’ comprehensive range of odds, streams and widgets for esoccer.

According to the company, Abios’ esoccer offering covers more than 12,000 matches every month. Now it aims to expand that offering to the Swedish market through this deal with Svenska Spel.

With this announcement, Abios continues to cement its standing as one of the leading esports odds providers in the esports industry. In 2024 the company secured Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 data through Bayes Esports extension, extended its data partnership with GRID, appointed a new Head of Odds Operations, and more.

Svenska Spel has an expansive presence in the Swedish market as both a sportsbook and casino. According to a release, the company is also the single largest sponsor of Swedish sports.

The Swedish state-owned gambling company has previously made a move into esports, having previously partnered with the Swedish Esports Federation in 2018.

Managing Director and Co-founder of Abios, Anton Janér, stated: “As a company founded in Stockholm we’re incredibly happy to power Svenska Spel, one of the most well-known brands within Swedish sports. Esoccer has grown rapidly for us in recent months, and it is exciting to see that the novel product features we’ve rolled out have gained traction and boosted results for our partners.”
