Multinational esports organisation Team Liquid has launched a dedicated esports channel that will air across a variety of streaming platforms.

The organisation says the channel is the only one of its kind in the world and shows a range of content on a 24/7 basis.

The channel is available to watch on a number of streaming platforms including Sling, Plex, and Fubo. The channel will broadcast different programmes that the organisation has put together, this include its ‘A Legacy Unrivaled‘ series which covers how organisation’s different esports teams are competing in international competitions.

In addition to Team Liquid‘s content series, Plex’s channel description reveals the channel will show live matches when the organisation is competing.

According to the announcement, Team Liquid is the first esports organisation to launch its own dedicated TV channel. The company is capitalising on the recent appearances of esports in TV and streaming platforms as in 2021, Paramount+ released ‘Players’, a series following fictional League of Legends team Fugitive Gaming.

Whilst team-led channels are not common, esports companies have begun expanding into traditional media. Only this month, Danish arm of television service Pluto TV partnered with Retake Media to launch a dedicated esports channel that will broadcast at least 120 days of live esports every year. The channel will begin with Danish-language coverage of the Perfect World Shanghai Major beginning on November 30th.

For Team Liquid, the creation of a TV channel is the latest in a series of initiatives to expand its reach. In November, it launched the MyBlue fan engagement platform on the Sui blockchain where fans can redeem real-world and digital rewards by interacting with the organisation.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
