M6 World Champions ONIC Philippines (formerly Fnatic ONIC PH) have confirmed Joy as the team’s chosen hero for its Champion skin.

The Filipino Mobile Legends: Bang Bang team will work with game publisher MOONTON Games to co-design the special skin which commemorates their win at MLBB’s biggest event of the competitive season.

The team chose Joy to celebrate Cyric ‘K1ngkong’ Perez’s strong performance at the tournament. The skin is set to be revealed in September later this year.

“Joy herself almost represents ONIC Philippines by her skills and colour,” said Denver ‘Coach Yeb’ Miranda, ONIC Esports Vice President for Esports.

“Joy is one of K1ngkong’s signature heroes and as I remember, when ONIC Philippines picked Joy, the crowd went crazy. Her story is a reflection of our own journey: a relentless pursuit of greatness, filled with challenges and determination. After years of growth and progress, we finally reached the pinnacle of success together.”

Aside from Joy, MOONTON also granted Finals MVP Grant ‘Kelra‘ Pillas the opportunity to co-design a special skin for Beatrix.

By winning the M6 World Championship, Kelra became the first player ever to win all Finals MVPs in three major MLBB tournaments: the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL), Mobile Legends: Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) and M Series.

The M6 World Championship took headlines last month when it peaked at 4.13m viewers, according to analytics platform Esports Charts. This resulted in M6 being the second most-watched esports tournament after the 2024 League of Legends World Championship (which peaked close to 7m).

While it didn’t beat the previous peak record set in the M5 World Championship, overall average viewership increased to 709,000 (from 475,000).

ONIC Philippines won M6 under its old moniker of Fnatic ONIC PH. Despite winning MLBB’s biggest event of the 2024 season, it was revealed on January 4th that the European esports organisation and ONIC had parted ways.

We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
