Global hotel company Radisson Hotel Group has introduced an ‘esports ready’ programme for teams and players to utilise.

Esports Ready by Radisson Hotels aims to meet the unique needs of esports teams, players and organisers by providing optimised environments with uninterrupted connectivity and essential services within its hotels.

Radisson noted in the announcement that its esports-ready hotels will offer 500 Mbps internet connection with 100% uptime.

Moreover, the hotels will provide cabled connections and backup lines to help with practice sessions and event participation. Teams with tight schedules will also be able to take advantage of early check-ins, late check-outs, grab-and-go meals and other time-saving services.

Specifically, hotels involved in the programme will feature private gaming rooms, lounges and secure storage options. The company also highlighted exclusive perks such as discounted rates, VIP status and free cancellations.

Lastly, esports teams, players and organizers will also be able to customize packages to suit their specific needs during the stay.

Currently, over 100 Radisson Hotel Group properties have been registered as ‘Esports Ready’. This includes Radisson Blu Hotels in Cologne and Antwerp City Centre, the Radisson RED Galway in Ireland and the Radisson Collection Royal Hotel in Copenhagen.

The group plans to expand the programme across all of its properties worldwide in the future. A full list of Radisson’s esports hotels can be found here.

The programme has been developed in partnership with Spacefwd, a global full-service MarCom agency.

“The high-stakes world of esports means every second counts and every detail matters,” stated Angela Graun, VP of Sales Operations at Radisson Hotel Group. “Radisson Hotel Group understands the unique challenges the industry faces when it comes to demanding travel schedules, unpredictable practice times, the need for seamless and reliable connectivity and secure, functional spaces to strategize and unwind.

“With Esports Ready by Radisson Hotels, we can help overcome these hurdles impacting performance and event success. Thanks to our diverse global portfolio of thoughtfully designed properties, Radisson Hotel Group can cater to the specific needs of esports travellers and create seamless experiences that facilitate esports success.”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
