In one of the biggest announcements of the year so far, Ubisoft has unveiled Rainbow Six Siege X, the next evolution of the Rainbow Six series, during the 2025 Six Invitational grand finals.

The developer noted that the teaser is a glimpse of ‘the biggest transformation in the game’s history’.

According to the game developer, Rainbow Six Siege X will contain updates to the tactical shooter’s graphics, audio and gameplay.

In addition, Ubisoft says Siege X will feature ‘new ways to play’ implying that a significant overhaul to the existing game will take place.

Aside from graphical and audio improvements, little is known about the other changes Ubisoft has planned for Rainbow Six Siege X.

Rather than Ubisoft releasing a new instalment of the Rainbow Six franchise, the release of Siege X appears to be a change similar to how Valve overhauled Counter-Strike: Global Offensive into Counter-Strike 2.

Ubisoft will reveal more information on Siege X during a showcase event taking place in Atlanta, Georgia on March 13th, 2025. Fans can attend the event in person and watch the showcase online.

Rainbow Six Siege Year 10 Details Revealed

In addition to announcing Siege X, Ubisoft also shared details on what the first seasonal update of the game’s 10th year has in store.

Known as Operation Prep Phase, the update sees the arrival of Rauora as the latest Attacker for players to select during matches. The launch of a new Operator in Rainbow Six Siege opens the door for players to create new strategies based on their weaponry and in-game abilities.

Year 10 Season 1 is also introducing Dynamic Matchmaking, a new system designed to optimise processes based on the number of requests being sent to the servers. More information on the Year 10 update will be revealed during the showcase on March 13th.

As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
