Rainbow Six Siege developer Ubisoft has released significant details surrounding its revamped R6 Share esports revenue programme for the 2025 season.

The new programme looks to offer esports organisations more opportunities to earn additional revenue through the creation and sale of in-game items.

For the 2025 Rainbow Six Siege season, a total of 20 teams have been selected to be part of the R6 Share programme. So far 18 teams have been announced, with the likes of Fnatic, FaZe Clan, G2 Esports, FURIA, Team Falcons and Spacestation Gaming, included.

The final two partner teams will be revealed at the Six Invitational taking place in Boston from February 3rd to 16th, 2025.

According to a release, the teams were selected based on a ‘detailed selection process’ to create a list of ‘established organisations and rising stars.’ In addition to existing team-branded items, Ubisoft has noted that new in-game item categories, such as operator portraits, drone skins and pro-team charms, will be created.

The full list of R6 Share partner teams is:

  • CAG Osaka
  • DarkZero Esports
  • Elevate
  • FearX
  • Fnatic
  • FaZe Clan
  • Fluxo
  • FURIA Esports
  • G2 Esports
  • M80
  • PSG Talon
  • SCARZ
  • Spacestation Gaming
  • Team Falcons
  • Team BDS
  • Team Secret
  • Team Liquid
  • Wildcard

In addition to the partner programme, Rainbow Six will have an esports affiliate programme to expand support across Europe, the Americas, and the APAC region. A total of 23 teams will become affiliates where they will receive an equal share of revenue generated.

In a similar manner to other revenue share systems, R6 Share will provide a percentage of pro-team bundles to partner teams. Ubisoft will also contribute a percentage of all Esports Bundles sales towards the fund. In this fund, all affiliate teams will receive an equal share to support their operations.

In the announcement, the developer noted the programme aims to ‘ensure strength and stability of the leagues around the world.’

The R6 Share programme was first introduced in 2020 and has been used to support a variety of esports organisations within the Rainbow Six ecosystem. In September 2024, the company launched 10 new esports team bundles which included the likes of Dplus Kia, Falcons and Fluxo.

Aside from the revenue programme, Ubisoft also revealed details on a new format for the 2025 Rainbow Six season after sharing an early look in October 2024. The kickoff event, now known as Reload, will head to Brazil in May 2025 and exclusively features all 20 partner teams.
