Republic of Gamers, the gaming sub-brand of hardware manufacturer ASUS, has expanded its existing partnership with North American esports organisation NRG.

As a result of the extension, the brand will provide a range of products for rosters representing the organisation to use.

According to a release, NRG will benefit from ‘a full range of ROG laptops, desktops, and handheld gaming devices’ to use in practice and when competing in esports competitions. In addition to new hardware, the two parties will collaborate on a content series involving players representing the organisation.

ASUS and NRG first joined forces in March 2023, with players equipped with the latest range of hardware and peripherals for the past two years.

“NRG is a massive force in esports, and we’re proud to expand our partnership to include ROG’s latest laptops, handhelds, and desktops,” said Galip Fu, Director of Marketing for Systems at ASUS ROG.

“We look forward to building the future of esports together, powered by innovation and the drive to win.”

ASUS and its Republic of Gamers brand are no strangers to the world of esports. In recent years, the brand has partnered with several organisations and tournament organisers, including ESL FACEIT Group and, most recently, Team Vitality.

NRG’s Strong Start to 2025

The expansion of its partnership with ASUS maintains NRG’s partnership portfolio at five. In addition to the hardware manufacturer, the organisation also collaborates with the likes of Rockstar Energy and internet service provider (ISP) Spectrum.

Alongside the energy drink brand and ISP, the organisation also has decentralised cloud infrastructure provider, Theta Labs, as a partner. Through this particular deal, it launched Volt, an AI-powered chatbot designed to improve fan engagement using official match data from events its teams are competing in.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
