Combo Breaker 2025 is almost here, uniting the FGC for a weekend of high-level competition and fan activations.

From May 23rd to May 25th, the top fighting game pros from every popular title will clash in Schaumburg, Illinois for three days of intense competition. The tourneys featured at Combo Breaker include Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8 and tons more.

This year, there are 24 fighting game titles at Combo Breaker 2025. Here is the full list:

The Mystery Game Tournament title has yet to be revealed. This iconic event has 256 competitors in a double-elimination bracket, with each round featuring a different game. This has players adapting to different games on the spot and tests their knowledge of various fighting game techniques and styles.

Combo Breaker 2025 Schedule

With so many tournaments happening at once, it can be a bit confusing to know what and when to watch. Luckily, Combo Breaker provided a detailed schedule of the three days, allowing the FGC to plan when to tune in.

Friday will largely be Pools, although the Top 8 will take place for Mortal Kombat X at 8 PM CST. Saturday has the Top 8 for Killer Instinct at 12 PM CST followed by Marvel vs. Capcom 3 at 1 PM CST, then XRD and Melee starting at 7 PM CST. Sunday will be the most intense, with Top 8 for all the remaining games, most notably Dragonball FighterZ at 1 PM CST, City of the Wolves at 1:30 PM CST, Ultimate at 3 PM CST and Street Fighter 6 at 7:30 PM CST.

How to Watch Combo Breaker 2025

Combo Breaker 2025 will be streamed on a variety of Twitch channels to ensure every game gets a chance to be showcased, especially the Top 8’s. The streams to watch are included in the schedule above, color coded to show which games will be streamed by which channel throughout the weekend. These include:

If you want to get in on the action, you can sign up here for late registration. The brackets are also available on Start.gg so you can follow along whether you’re in Pools or watching from home.

For those attending in person, Combo Breaker 2025 will also have auction tournaments, a cosplay contest, a chess lounge and more.
