Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has revamped its existing collection of esports trophies with the launch of the Immortal Cup.

The trophy will make its debut across all seven Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional Leagues (MPL) to mark ‘a bold new chapter’ for the title’s top tier of esports competition.

The arrival of a new trophy for MPL competition follows the arrival of a new Mobile Legends: Bang Bang logo during the M6 World Championship, which took place in December 2024.

According to a release, the design of the Immortal Cup aims to balance ‘modern prestige with the legacy of its predecessors.’ Alongside the trophy awarded to the league winners, the MVP trophies have also received new designs.

“The MPL Immortal Cup is more than just a trophy or a prize; it represents the boundless potential of MPL,” said Maximillian Tan, Director of Creative Development, Global Esports at MOONTON Games.

“It is a legacy in the making and a symbol of the opportunities that await esports athletes to chase greatness, for fans to immerse themselves in the thrill of esports entertainment, and for industry stakeholders to unlock the MPL’s value in shaping the gaming landscape.”

MLBB continues to establish itself as one of the most-watched esports in the world. According to Esports Charts, MPL became the first esports league to surpass one billion hours of watch time.

What’s Next For Mobile Legends Esports in 2025?

As 2025 heads towards the halfway point, the attention of the MLBB esports scene turns towards the Mid-Season Cup taking place as part of the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The event will see 23 teams from across the world competing for a share of $3m (~£2.2m) in prize money. The Esports World Cup will also host the Women’s Invitational, where $500,000 (~£373,963) is on the line.

As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
