Esports marketing expert Nathan Edmonds has joined The Brain Trust, the developer behind esports simulation game Esports Team Manager.

Edmonds will support the independent development team as a Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer, helping steer the game towards its planned release in late 2025.

Throughout over 10 years in the esports industry, Edmonds has taken on numerous roles to hone his expertise in marketing and leadership. He has worked for companies such as esports organisation GIANTX, esports job platform Hitmarker and esports publication Esports Insider.

In June last year, Edmonds founded his digital agency Get In, where he currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer.

According to Paul Capoccia, Founder, CEO and Lead Developer at The Brain Trust, the new Co-Founder will lead the global marketing strategy at Esports Manager amongst other operational aspects.

“With Nathan’s vast influence and 10-plus years of experience in the esports industry, we’re excited to be able to expand the scope of ETM even further to an international level,” shared Capoccia on LinkedIn.

However, Edmond assured in a LinkedIn post that his new role will not affect his day-to-day involvement in Get In.

The marketing expert also commented: “Paul Capoccia and I met a few months ago, and I loved everything he stood for, his vision for the game and the way he wanted to go about it. I feel incredibly lucky to be alongside him on this journey!”

What is Esports Team Manager?

Announced in April this year, Esports Team Manager aims to be the ‘most realistic esports management experience.’

Similar to other sports management simulations such as Football Manager, ETM players will take full control of an esports organisation by hiring coaches, trading players and managing their team’s strategy.

While the game will not feature a specific esports title, it will be focused on lane-based massive multiplayer online battle arena esports inspired by League of Legends.

ETM can already be wishlisted on Steam and is expected to cost about $20 in Early Access, with a slight price increase after.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
