Marvel Rivals Fight Night #13 has concluded. While a new champion has been crowned over in North America, Europe is beholden to one of the most impressive win streaks in the esports scene.

100 Thieves reclaimed its spot as the best team in NA, while Virtus.pro earned its 12th win in the EU series. However, it faced its first true challenge since entering the Marvel Rivals.

Fight Night #12 was won by ENVY, however, the team did not participate this week. This left the previous week’s winner, 100 Thieves, to step in as the ‘champion’ this time around after a one-sided final with Shroud-X.

Shroud-X was able to defeat Citadel Gaming, who were participating in Fight Night for the first time, with a narrow 3-2 victory in the Challenger’s Match. However, the same could not be said for the finals, as 100 Thieves left with a 3-0 sweep against Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek’s team.

Here is a full breakdown of the finals match between Shroud-X (SDX) and 100 Thieves (100T):

  • Game 1: 100T 2-0 SDX – Krakoa, Domination
  • Game 2: 100T 3-0 SDX – Hall of Djalia, Convergence
  • Game 3: 100T 2-1 SDX – Hell’s Heaven, Domination
  • End Score: 100T 3-0 SDX

During the finals livestream, NA commentator Andrew ‘ZP’ Rush said: “Post-Shroud Gauntlet, I do think you have a little bit of a stratification where top of NA for me right now are ENVY and 100 Thieves. And I do think they’ve made a little bit of a gap between them and the other teams.

“Even though Shroud-X has played 100 Thieves close in the past, I didn’t necessarily think it would be the case tonight. Overall, some of the gut feels ended up being true.’

Virtus.pro Claim 12th Win in Marvel Rivals Fight Night #13

Virtus.pro once again came out on top, crowned the Fight Night victor once again. This time, however, it didn’t come quite as easily as previous weeks. Brr Brr Patapim (BBP) gave the top team the challenge of a lifetime, and the underdog squad was very close to making history.

After BBP won against Al Qadsiah 3-0 in the Challengers Match, the team then faced Virtus.pro in the finals. The last time the two teams faced off was in Fight Night #9, where Virtus.pro left with a 3-0 sweep. However, this time was a lot closer than anticipated.

Here is the full breakdown of the finals match between BBP and Virtus.pro (VP):

  • Game 1: VP 2-1 BBP – Krakoa, Domination
  • Game 2: BBP 2-0 VP – Hell’s Heaven, Domination
  • Game 3: VP 2-1 BBP – Hall of Djalia, Convergence
  • Game 4: BBP 2-0 VP – Birnin T’Challa, Domination
  • Game 5: VP 3-2 BBP – Symbiotic Surface, Convergence
  • End Score: VP 3-2 BBP

Despite Virtus.pro ultimately winning, commentators were impressed with BBP’s performance, as it was possibly the first real challenge that Virtus.pro had faced in the series.

During the final livestream, EU commentator Jacob ‘JAKE’ Lyon said: “They’re [Virtus.Pro] just indomitable, right, being able to return time and time again, face all challengers. And for now, for the first time, they were pushed to the brink, and they struck back just as hard.

“VP once again are going to claim that title belt, but now the gauntlet has been thrown down, there is a true challenger in Europe. We can’t take away from what Brr Brr Patapim has accomplished.”
