The Dota 2 collection isn’t the only merch drop ESL has done. In 2024, ESL also did a collaboration with Counter-Strike 2, releasing a similar range of clothing. However, as of writing, these are currently unavailable to purchase.

It has also released merchandise for DreamHack in the ‘Pixel Grind‘ collection this year. The selection of apparel and gear harken back to the early 2000’s, with a classic retro vibe.

Dota 2 Events This Year

Dota 2 continues to ramp up it’s esports scene. DreamLeague Season 26 just concluded, ending on June 1st after crowning PARIVISION as it’s champions.

BLAST Slam III also concluded on May 11th, which saw Tundra Esports claim the lion’s share of the $1 million prize pool after defeating the likes of Team Falcons, Team Spirit and more.

Other upcoming events include the PGL Wallachia Season 5 tournament. Season 4 was previously won by Team Liquid, which will return this time around as the defending champions. Other invited teams include Tundra Esports, BetBoom Team, Virtus.pro and more.

The Riyadh Masters tournament will also take place at this year’s Esports World Cup, which runs from July 8th to 19th, 2025. As of writing, it is still in the process of selecting the rest of its participants based on the results of MESWA, Eastern Europe and South America qualifiers.
