
ESL has revealed all 104 teams that will compete in the ESL Challengers League Season 50 Cup #1 tournament across all five regions.
The Counter-Strike 2 tournament is one of four cups, a double-elimination bracket held within each respective region. The winner of each cup will qualify for the ESL Challenger League Season 50 Regional Finals, a single elimination bracket where the winner qualifies for ESL Pro League Season 23.
Eighty-nine teams have been invited based on the Valve Regional Standings from July 7th, 2025. Twenty-four come from Europe, 17 from North America, South America has 16, Asia has eight and Oceania has four. The remaining 35 teams have qualified through the ESEA League Season 52 and 53, which saw qualification adjustments. ESL has stated that teams have until July 28th, 2025 to submit their final rosters.
These are all the invited teams for ESL Challengers League Season 50 Cup #1 in each region, alongside every organisation that declined invitations.

Top ranking teams such as Team Vitality, MOUZ and Team Spirit have not been invited because rosters must be ranked lower than 12 in Valve’s Regional Standings. In addition, 3DMAX, Virtus.pro, Astralis, Team Liquid, B8, Ninjas In Pyjamas, ECSTATIC, Natus Vincere Junior and TEAM NEXT LEVEL have rejected invites for Europe.
