Free Fire is getting another international esports tournament, with its All Stars event returning for a Naruto-themed Ninja Clash in Bangkok, Thailand.

The tournament, set to occur August 9th and 10th at the CentralWorld in Bangkok, will see eight teams from Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Brazil, and Latin America compete for a share of its $100,000 (~£74,800) prize pool.

The eight teams are: LOS and Fluxo from Brazil, Movistar R7 from Mexico, RRQ Kazu and EVOS Divine from Indonesia, Buriram United Esports and Team Falcons from Thailand, and WAG from Vietnam.

The Free Fire All Stars: Ninja Clash will be played in the Clash Squad mode, which is also getting a new Naruto-themed element. The Divine Tree Airdrops will now contain Red Moon Points.

The team that collects three points will trigger the ‘Red Moon’ phase. In this, the Red Moon will take over the map, unlocking special buffs and also an exclusive shop.

What is the Format for the Free Fire All Stars: Ninja Clash?

The eight teams will first compete in a Swiss stage, with the top four teams making it to the playoffs. Teams from the same region will not face each other.

The playoffs will follow a single-elimination best-of-three format, except for the grand finals, which will be a best-of-five.

This tournament comes as Free Fire and Naruto mark Chapter 2 of its successful collaboration. This chapter, taking place July 30th to August 31st, will contain many new features for players to enjoy.

This includes a transformed Bermuda map, with the Hidden Leaf Village now destroyed by a Planetary Devastation Sphere, which is suspended in mid-air.

The map will also have a Red Moon effect, Divine Tree, and Tsukuyomi Zones, where players can hone real Naruto-themed moves in Free Fire.

Besides this, fans will be treated to Naruto-themed collectibles including the Orochimaru Bundle and Akatsuki Title.

Therefore, the Free Fire All Stars: Ninja Clash not only combines esports with top teams but also brings a Naruto experience for fans.

In fact, the showdown is inspired by the clash between the Hidden Leaf Village and Akatsuki Ninjas, which is the core storyline of many Naruto arcs.

Clash Squad mode is slowly taking centerstage

The Clash Squad mode, which features 4v4 round-based battles, is quickly growing to become a central esports mode in Free Fire. Garena has been actively promoting it as well through show matches and separate tournaments.

In fact, the Clash Squad tournament in the spring season of the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) SEA 2025 achieved a peak viewership of 192,479, per Esports Charts. The battle royale mode in the same tournament achieved 276,161 peak concurrent viewers. While this is higher, the gap between the two has been reducing in recent years.

Fans will be able to catch all the action live in the All Stars: Ninja Clash on the Free Fire esports channels. Matches will begin at 1pm GMT+7 on August 9th and 10th.

  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
