Competitive mobile card game, Marvel Snap, has announced it will host the Golden Gauntlet World Championship Series, a community-first tournament scheduled for August 9th, 2025.
The initiative will have a fully open, online, free-to-enter format, with broadcasts taking place live across both Twitch and YouTube for the community to enjoy.
The series is open to all players, from content creators to casual players, with no rank or collection level required. Registration, alongside rules, formats and support, will be available through the official Discord before each event.

Marvel Snap Golden Gauntlet Format and Schedule
The Championship Series will feature three regional Open Qualifier tournaments, culminating in the Golden Gauntlet Worlds event in November.
Golden Gauntlet Open 1 will take place on August 9th, 2025 at 5:00 PM PST

- Player cap: 1024
- Format: Six rounds of Swiss – Top 16 single-elimination
- Prizes for top 16
- All players finishing 5-1 or better qualify for the Golden Gauntlet Worlds
There will also be a second Open Qualifier in September focused on Americas, and a third event in October focused on EU and Eastern US.
The Golden Gauntlet Worlds event is scheduled for November 8th, 2025 at 8:00 AM PST. It is the grand final, where the top performers from all qualifiers compete.
