Monte Esports has announced Aleksander ‘hades’ Miskiewicz has departed its Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) roster.
The Polish player joined the Ukrainian esports organisation in July 2024, bringing a ten-month tenure on the lineup to an end.
During his time under the Monte Esports banner, hades scored a place in the semi-final of ESL Challenger Katowice 2024. He also assisted the team climb the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) to 28th in November 2024.
In April, hades joined G2 Esports on loan, following the departure of Ilya ‘M0NESY’ Osipov to Team Falcons. During his time representing G2, Hades competed at PGL Astana, IEM, Dallas, and the BLAST.tv Austin Major. For the latter, the team placed 9th-11th after losing its final matches of Stage 3.
Following the Major, hades returned to Monte Esports with G2 Esports recruiting Alvaro ‘SunPayus’ Garcia to its starting lineup.
As a result of hades’ departure from Monte, the organisation is left with three players and a coach on its roster. Currently ranked 105th in the most recent VRS, the organisation isn’t scheduled to compete in upcoming tournaments.
The last tournament it competed in was the third series of CCT Season 3 Europe, where it scored a top-16 finish, while NAVI Junior took home the victory.
What’s Next For Hades?
Following his departure from Monte, hades has yet to reveal which organisation he will be representing next. With the post-Major roster shuffle in full swing, there’s a high chance of a space on a starting lineup opening up across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
Having competed in Counter-Strike since 2018 and represented the likes of ENCE, 9INE, and G2 Esports, hades has a wealth of experience that could prove valuable to any organisation looking to make changes to its Counter-Strike roster in the coming weeks.
