iRacing has announced a multi-year data partnership with British automotive engineering company Cosworth.
The deal will see the company become the official data analysis partner of the sim racing platform, which houses over 350,000 active users across the world.
As part of the deal, iRacing will launch a range of branded sim racing series within its ecosystem in addition to giving sim racers access to Pi Toolbox, Cosworth’s world-renowned software, which analyses telemetry data recorded during a race.
The software was originally developed for real-world motorsport, providing drivers detailed comparison of inputs, lap time, and vehicle behaviour in real time.
“This is more than just a partnership – it’s a performance ecosystem,” said Tom Brown, Head of Product and Solutions at Cosworth. “From grassroots esports to professional-level simulation, we’re delivering tools that don’t just replicate the real-world experience.
“This collaboration enables us to offer the ultimate platform for performance analysis, training, and development, supporting both today’s racers and the next generation of drivers and engineers.”
In addition to integrating into the main iRacing platform, Cosworth’s branding will appear across other titles, including iRacing Arcade and the licensed NASCAR and IndyCar titles.
iRacing Arcade will feature a co-branded racing series, described as “the ultimate reward tier” within the title, set to release in the second half of 2026.
iRacing In 2025
In recent years, iRacing has continued to secure several partnerships with real-world motorsport stakeholders.
In June, the platform and the Skip Barber Racing School returned to host this year’s edition of the Skip Barber Formula iRacing Series, where sim racers compete for the opportunity to earn a seat in the real-world Skip Barber Race Series in 2026.
Elsewhere, the platform has joined forces with EuroNASCAR in a deal that will see cars from the series integrated into the iRacing ecosystem.
