Riot Games has introduced Leagues Disrupt, a new Nordic gaming and esports experience set to host this year’s NLC 2025 Summer Split Finals.

Taking place in Stockholm, Sweden, on August 30th, the festival will combine elite gameplay with entertainment, content creators, and fan engagement.

The NLC Summer 2025 is the third split in this year’s Northern League of Legends Championship (NLC). The tier-two tournament commenced on July 15th with a single round-robin Group Stage followed by a double-elimination Playoffs bracket.

Out of the ten participating Nordic teams, the top three will qualify for the EMEA Masters Summer 2025 tournament in September. So far, only Norwegian squad Rich Gang Esports has secured one of the coveted EMEA Masters seeds by reaching third place in the NLC Playoffs.

However, British organisation Verdant and Los Ratones, founded by League of Legends personality Marc Robert ‘Caedrel’ Lamont, still remain in the race towards the final 2025 NLC trophy.

Defending its NLC Spring and Winter titles, Los Ratones will face Verdant in a best-of-five (BO5) series at Leagues Disrupt.

A New Esports Event For The Nordics

According to a press release, Leagues Disrupt is part of Riot Games’ mission to elevate esports within the Nordic European countries. The event is targeted at gaming, culture, and esports enthusiasts with over 5,000 expected visitors.

In addition to the NLC Summer Finals, Leagues Disrupt will feature live music, meet-and-greets with top Swedish streamers, giveaways, an expo zone, and an afterparty. Several attending personalities and cosplayers have already been confirmed on Leagues Disrupt’s social media, including GX Tenshi, NORD Esports Treatz and Saria.

The spectacle will also be co-streamed by the likes of YamatoCannon, Finn and Dumbs.

“The Leagues Disrupt will bring a groundbreaking esports celebration to the Nordics, giving fans the chance to gather, support their favourite teams and experience the NLC finals as a community,” commented Riot Games’ Northern Europe Brand Manager, Vivian Naydenova.

Fans can purchase their Leagues Disrupt tickets via the dedicated webpage. Doors to Stockholm’s Hovet Arena will open at 2.30 PM CEST, with the NLC Finals kicking off at 4 PM CEST.

We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
