Jonathan ‘EliGE‘ Jablonowski’s return to Team Liquid‘s Counter-Strike 2 roster has seemingly been confirmed.

The multinational esports organisation submitted EliGE as its fifth player for the upcoming Fragadelphia Blocktober event.

Ahead of the LAN event taking place from October 2nd to 5th, 2025, the tournament organiser released the list of submitted rosters, confirming the 28-year-old’s return to Team Liquid after being placed on the FaZe Clan bench in August.

EliGE is no stranger to competing under the Team Liquid banner, having represented the organisation for eight years between 2015 and 2023.

Team Liquid has yet to make an official announcement regarding the return of EliGE, a move that has been heavily rumoured since Russel ‘Twistzz’ Van Dulken left the team to join FaZe Clan. FaZe Clan has yet to reveal its new line-up following Twistzz rejoining the organisation.

Ahead of Fragadelphia Blocktober, Team Liquid is also set to compete in Birch Cup from September 26th to 28th. EliGE is also part of the team that will compete at the event taking place in Gdansk, Poland.

Team Liquid’s Turbulent 2025

Throughout 2025, Team Liquid has been on the cusp of dropping out of the top 32 and failing to qualify for November’s StarLadder Budapest Major.

Having struggled to make it into the playoffs of several Tier 1 events, a strong performance at FISSURE Playground 2 would either make or break the team’s second half of the year.

With Twistzz’ departure confirmed midway through the event, Team Liquid managed to secure a top-four finish and hundreds of Valve Regional Standings (VRS) points to cement its place within the top 32, giving the team an excellent opportunity to secure Major qualification.

High placements at Birch Cup and Fragadelphia Blocktober with EliGE back in the team should be enough for the organisation to book its place at the final Major of the year.

  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
