100 Thieves has announced the departure of Alexander ‘Zander’ Dituri ahead of the 2026 season of Riot Games’ VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT).
The news comes shortly after the North American organisation bid farewell to Zander’s former teammates, Drew ‘Kess’ Lee and Daniel ‘eeiu’ Vucenovic.
Zander began his VALORANT esports career in 2021 under SoaR Gaming. Following a short tenure with Version1, the smokes player joined M80 in late 2022, with which he placed second at VCT Ascension 2024.
100 Thieves signed Zander ahead of the 2025 VCT season after the departure of Sean ‘bang’ Bezerra to Sentinels. Despite not making a single global event this year, Zander did show promise as an in-game leader (IGL) during the team’s VCT Americas Stage 2 run.
“My time with 100 Thieves has come to an end”, commented Zander on yesterday’s announcement.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to represent such a legendary org and for everyone who supported me along the way. Thank you to my teammates, staff, and fans for making this year unforgettable.”
Roster Changes After a Difficult Season
100 Thieves has been competing in North America’s tier-one VALORANT scene since 2021. Though invited to enter Riot’s franchised VCT circuit as a partner team, the organisation has often struggled to keep up with its regional rivals.
Still, 100 Thieves has had solid international performances in the past, including a third to fourth place finish at Masters Berlin 2021 and a fourth-place finish at Masters Shanghai last year.
This season, however, 100 Thieves has failed to qualify for any global VCT tournament for the first time. The team suffered an early elimination at VCT Kickoff and was unable to survive the Playoffs in Stages 1 and 2.
As 100 Thieves prepares for the upcoming season, the organisation has already parted ways with three roster members, as well as former Head Coach Anthony ‘Zikz’ Gray.
It remains to be seen whether the remaining two players from last year’s lineup, Peter ‘Asuna’ Mazuryk and Matthew ‘Cryocells’ Panganiban, will also leave the organisation.
