NetEase has announced that registrations are open for the 2026 Marvel Rivals PlayStation Cup.

The PlayStation Cups are monthly open-bracket competitions exclusively available to PS4 and PS5 players, offering in-game rewards based on a team’s performance.

The event will feature two splits, with the first running from January 1st to 17th and the next split taking place from January 18th to 31st, 2026. The upcoming tournament will serve as the first official esports event organised by NetEase in the Marvel Rivals 2026 calendar.

The latest PlayStation Cup comes with a tournament format update. Teams are eligible for certain rewards based on the number of wins and losses secured, with a limit of three wins and two losses. When either limit is reached, a match ends, and the results are calculated.

Here are all of the rewards available in 2026 Marvel Rivals PlayStation Cup and how to acquire them:

Two Wins 400 Units/Person + ‘2nd’ Faction Trophy + Title

Solo queuing is not possible for the PlayStation Cup, requiring players to enter as part of an in-game faction to compete. The blog post by PlayStation adds that all players must be 16 years or older. There is a full list of terms and conditions available online for further details.

The event is scheduled to take place during Marvel Rivals Season 6: Night at the Museum, which will begin on January 16th, 2026. The new season will bring two new heroes to the roster, including Deadpool and a second unconfirmed hero, potentially Elsa Bloodstone.

In the esports side, Marvel Rivals Ignite returns for a 2026 season with an updated format. Beginning with a pre-season in April 2026, the $3m (~£2.26m) circuit will once again see the best teams from across the now four regions compete for a place in this year’s Grand Finals.

Various programmes have also been opened for teams and players looking to make an impact in 2025. The Ignite 2026 Partner Programme application phase has begun, where teams can be selected to receive financial incentives such as in-game bundle revenue shares. Caster applications are also open, with chosen candidates set to be announced before the pre-season begins.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
