The League Championship Pacific (LCP), the premier Asia-Pacific region for League of Legends, has officially opened applications for co-streamers.
Interested applicants can apply through a dedicated form and earn the opportunity to co-stream the LCP 2026, which will officially kicks off this week on January 16th.
Applicants will be required to submit their preferred streaming platforms, as well as their target market and language.
As one of the major regions in the League of Legends esports ecosystem, the LCP is home to several co-streamers in the space, mainly coming from Vietnamese, Mandarin, and English-speaking communities.
During the LCP 2025 Season Finals, Riot Games unveiled a long list of co-streamers, which included former professional players like Hu ‘SwordArt‘ Shuo-Chieh, Yuta ‘Yutapon‘ Sugiura, and Lê ‘SofM‘ Quang Duy.
LCP 2026 Split 1 Will See Several New Faces
Unlike the previous year, the 2026 LCP season will have three Partner Teams instead of four, following the removal of TALON Esports. Riot Games brought in Ground Zero Gaming to fill the slot, with Deep Cross Gaming joining as the new Guest Team after winning the promotion tournament.
Moreover, the league saw the departure of several top names, including former CTBC Flying Oyster (CFO) players Yu ‘JunJia‘ Chun-Chia, Tsai ‘HongQ‘ Ming-Hong, and Ling ‘Kaiwing‘ Kai Wing, who had a strong showing in 2025 and competed in all international tournaments.
The LCP also bid farewell to Vietnamese legend Đỗ ‘Levi‘ Duy Khánh, who announced his retirement at the end of 2025.
Nonetheless, the LCP is set to be highly competitive with the arrival of new blood. CFO is expected to be the front-running team with the pick up of LPL champion Zhao ‘Shad0w‘ Zhiqiang and Korean import Lee ‘Pungyeon‘ Jong-hyuk.
The three Vietnamese squads (GAM Esports, MVK Esports, and Team Secret Whales), as well as the new entry Ground Zero, are also expected to be among the contenders for the top spots in the league.
According to the LCP Split 1 format, teams will first play a single round robin of Bo3 series from January 16th to February 8th, before moving to playoffs. The top six will then compete for the Split 1 championship and the region’s slot at First Stand 2026, which will take place in São Paulo, Brazil, in mid-March.
Aside from the key gameplay changes from the new season, the LCP will also see the implementation of Coach Comms, where coaching staff will be allowed to communicate with players during the games.
