League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) has announced that this year’s LCK Cup Finals will take place in Hong Kong.

Taking place from February 28th to March 1st, the event marks the first time an LCK finals will take place outside of South Korea.

The LCK Cup Finals will be hosted at the Kai Tak Arena in the Kai Tak Sports Park. Notably, the event has received the ‘M’ Mark recognition from Hong Kong’s government. Awarded by the Hong Kong Major Events Committee, the M Mark status is issued to events that enhance Hong Kong’s international image as a destination for high-profile sports and entertainment events.

Other events awarded the M Mark status include the Hong Kong Tennis Open and LIV Golf Hong Kong.

In addition to hosting the lower bracket final and the Grand Final, the LCK will create a Festival Zone as a fan engagement initiative. The Festival Zone includes various activations ranging from limited-edition merchandise stalls and experiences hosted by sponsors.

This year’s LCK Cup began on January 14th, with South Korea’s best teams competing in the Group Stage. After two weeks of action, Gen.G and T1 top Group Baron with four wins to their names, while Dplus leads the way in Group Elder with three victories.

The top two teams in the LCK Cup will qualify for First Stand, League of Legends’ first international event of the year.

Hong Kong And Esports

Over the past 12 months, Hong Kong has become a popular destination for tournament organisers to host events. This year, BLAST will host its Rivals Season 2 Counter-Strike 2 event in the region following the success of its 2025 event.

The LCK Cup Finals is the second esports event to receive the M Mark status, placing high-profile esports tournaments alongside traditional sporting spectacles.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
