Republic of Gamers (ROG), the gaming sub-brand of ASUS, has named VALORANT professional player Brock ‘brawk‘ Somerhalder as its latest ambassador.
Announced through a post on social media, the 2025 VALORANT Champions MVP will utilise ROG Ace, the brand’s esports-focused gear collection. Specifics around his ambassadorship, such as duration and deliverables, were not disclosed.
For ASUS ROG, brawk is the second ambassador tied to the brand, following Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) legend and Team Vitality player Mathieu ‘ZywOo’ Herbaut, who was announced in May 2025.
It’s worth noting that ASUS ROG also has a long-standing, team-wide partnership with NRG, which started back in 2023 and was extended last year.
After lifting the VALORANT Champions trophy in Paris last November, NRG is continuing its streak of international appearances this season. brawk and the rest of the team are set to take part in the upcoming VALORANT Masters Santiago, after finishing in third place at VCT Americas Kickoff.
NRG’s campaign will begin on February 28th with the beginning of the Swiss Stage. This stage will determine the four teams joining the winners of Stage 1 competitions in the playoffs. The first opponent for NRG will be the Chinese team XLG Esports, which is also supported by ROG.
ROG Expands Across All Esports Titles
Aside from individual players, ROG also supports several esports organisations across the globe, including Team Vitality, JD Gaming, NOVA, and more.
ROG also supports tournament organisers, having signed a partnership deal with PGL for the 2026 season to become the official PC, monitor, and peripheral partner across both CS2 and Dota 2 events.
Recently, the brand also partnered up with Riot Games to become the official PC sponsor for the LCK Cup Final, which will take place in Hong Kong, at the Kai Tak Arena, later this week.
