The Monaco Esports Federation has announced the Principality will host the Sim Racing World Cup Finals.

The event will see 12 teams representing a range of countries compete on October 23rd at the Grimaldi Forum.

Throughout 2022, drivers representing over 40 esports federations have competed in national and continental qualification rounds in a bid to qualify for the finals. The tournament is supported by the International Esports Federation (IESF) and organised by Monaco Esports.

Teams representing Argentina, Columbia, New Zealand, and Thailand are some of the finalists competing at the event. Details on a prize pool were not disclosed.

Sim racing continues to be a popular entry point into the esports industry for several motorsport teams, in addition to providing another avenue of expansion for existing organisations. In recent years, the likes of Italian automotive marque Ferrari and Formula One team Williams Racing have launched esports divisions fielding rosters across a number of sim racing titles.

The Monaco Esports Federation is no stranger to hosting events in the Principality. In December 2021, it hosted the second Monaco Gaming Show which featured Fortnite and Rocket League tournaments.

Boris Fedoroff, CEO of Monaco Esports, shared more information on the event: “At the finals, we will also feature some of the leading casters, influencers and VIP guests from the world of real and virtual racing. Once we have them confirmed, we will make an announcement which I am sure will add excitement to this ground-breaking event.”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
