North American esports organisation Panda Global has announced a partnership with food delivery service Grubhub.

The deal will see the service become the official delivery partner of the Panda Cup Super Smash Bros. tournament circuit.

Grubhub will become the title sponsor of the remaining qualification events for the Panda Cup Finale taking place in December. The finale features $100,000 (~£82,106) prize pools for Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

In addition to title sponsorship, the two parties will collaborate on a number of in-person and virtual activations. Details on the activations were not disclosed. The deal is the first for Grubhub in 2022. Previous collaborations include partnerships with the League Championship Series (LCS) as well as tournament organiser ESL and its collegiate initiative.

The Panda Cup follows the organisation’s partnership with video game company Nintendo, enabling it to host licensed tournament circuits for Super Smash Bros.

Alongside operating the Panda Cup, Panda Global secured a deal with electronics retailer Adorama in January 2022. The partnership will see the two parties join forces to host a range of charity esports tournaments.

“Extra care and attention to detail is being put into every aspect of the Panda Cup with the help of our partners at Nintendo of America. Having Grubhub at our side means we can level up even further!”

As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
