North American esports organisation Panda Global has partnered with office furniture manufacturer Steelcase.
As a result of the deal, the manufacturer will provide its chairs for the Wonderful Pistachios Last Chance Qualifier as well as the Panda Cup finals taking place from December 15th-18th.
Alongside providing chairs for competitors and on-screen talent, a Steelcase booth will allow attendees to test its product range.
The manufacturer becomes the third sponsor of the Panda Cup, the first licensed Super Smash Bros circuit in North America. Steelcase joins food delivery platform Grubhub and nut brand Wonderful Pistachios on the ever-expanding commercial portfolio.
The Panda Cup is open to players across North America and aims to promote inclusivity and accessibility for all. Panda Cup participants compete in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate or Super Smash Bros. Melee for a share of $100,000 (~£86,433) in prize money.
Aside from the Panda Cup, Panda Global has continued to expand in 2022. In January, the organisation secured a deal with electronics retailer Adorama resulting in the parties continuing to host a range of charity esports events.

The Panda Cup isn’t the only FGC spectacle still to take place this year. In fact, content creator and streamer Ludwig Ahgren announced a Super Smash Bros invitational on October 21st-23rd in Las Vegas, Nevada.
