The Collegiate Sports Management Group (CSMG) and its collegiate esports brand ESPORTSU have selected the venue for the second Collegiate Esports Commissioner’s Cup (CECC).

The collegiate esports event, which is operated by the CSMG, will take place at Esports Stadium Arlington in Texas on May 6th-7th.

CSMG launched ESPORTSU in January 2022 before hosting the inaugural CECC in November that year. The event won the Tempest Award for the Best Collegiate/Amateur/Semi-Pro Event of the year. The 2023 event will be the second CECC that CSMG has host, with a total of 64 teams in attendance.

The event will see collegiate teams competing across VALORANT, Overwatch 2, Rocket League and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. In addition to the tournaments, CSMG will organise a range of activations with its partners alongside a career fair.

During the event, ESPORTSU will host the College Esports Awards Show, a ceremony celebrating ‘outstanding performance and leadership’ to players, staff, collegiate programmes, and brands supporting the industry.

In the past 12 months, CSMG has secured several partnerships for the CECC including deals with the likes of multinational tech giant Microsoft, service provider CDW, meal replacement brand CTRL, and many others.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
