Czechia-based esports company PLAYzone has extended its partnership with esports tournament organiser ESL Gaming until 2024.

PLAYzone is one of the largest esports companies in Czechia and Slovakia. The company operates the PLAYzone arena esports venue, organises regional tournaments and works with clients from gaming and other industries. For example, telecommunications company Vodafone is a noted partner of PLAYzone and holds the naming rights for the PLAYzone arena.

According to PLAYzone, Vodafone is also going to be a partner for the regional broadcasts of ESL events until 2024.

In addition to the regional broadcasts, the two companies will continue collaborating on events. For example, the winner of the Tipsport CS:GO Bratislava tournament will be invited to the European qualifiers for Season 18 of the ESL Pro League (EPL). The winners of the Tipsport MČR CS:GO tournament will compete in the European qualifiers for EPL Season 19.

PLAYzone noted that the company has produced over 700 hours of localised broadcast for ESL events in 2022, and that it plans to expand the programme in 2023.

Richard Jakab, VP Media Right Sales at ESL FACEIT Group, commented: “We’re thrilled to extend our collaboration with PLAYzone and to continue fostering the region in which they’re active while also investing in the local distribution of some of the greatest esports content.

“It’s been an incredible journey since PLAYzone joined the ESL family about two years ago. We look forward to bringing more exciting action and memorable moments to the Czech and Slovakian CS:GO fans.”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
