Indian esports and gaming company Skyesports has secured a broadcast partnership with streaming platform Loco.

As a result of the deal, Loco will become the broadcast partner for the Skyesports Masters, India’s first franchised CS:GO esports league.

In addition to becoming the Skyesports Masters broadcast partner, Loco will also sponsor all eight franchise teams competing in the tournament featuring a Rs. 2 Crore (~£188,419) prize pool.

Alongside sponsoring the teams, Loco will host a range of ‘unique experiences’ for fans ahead of the playoffs taking place at Bangalore’s Koramangala Indoor Stadium from August 26-27th. Details on the experiences were not disclosed.

This isn’t the first instance of Skyesports and Loco joining forces. The two parties first collaborated in June 2023 with the streaming platform hosting the 2023 edition of Battlegrounds Mobile India’s Skyesports Champions Series.

Skyesports continues to attract new partners for its Masters competition. In July 2023, the company secured a deal with bookmaker 1xBET with the aim to increase the visibility of the league within the region. Loco becomes the fifth partner of the Skyesports Masters, joining the likes of peripherals brand Zebronics, AMD, and Microsoft on its portfolio.

Shiva Nandy, Founder and CEO of Skyesports, spoke on the deal: “The Skyesports Masters is a benchmark-setting event for Indian esports as it prioritizes sustainability for all the eight partnered teams.

“We are thrilled to have onboarded Loco, the world’s leading independent esports and live game streaming platform, not only as the broadcasting partner but also as a sponsor for the teams competing in the event.”

As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
