Women’s League of Legends tournament PATHFINDERS has partnered with gaming hardware and peripherals manufacturer Logitech G.
As a result, the two parties will team up to start a new Step Up initiative that aims to help equip up-and-coming teams.
Launched in April by UK-based esports and gaming agency PROJEKT GAP, PATHFINDERS is a tournament series focused on providing ‘a safe, supportive and professional platform’ for women looking to compete in League of Legends.
Two events have been held in 2023 so far, with both being won by G2 Esports’ women’s side G2 Hel.
The collaboration will kick off with the upcoming PATHFINDERS 3 Main Event, a two-day tournament featuring eight teams. The tournament model sees six of the teams invited to compete while the final two must gain entry via open qualifiers. Alongside G2 Hel, the other invited teams include BIG Chroma, Solary, Vitality French Bees and Team GO Aurora, all of whom are in agreement to compete for the entirety of 2023.
The partnership with Logitech G will cover the rest of 2023, most notably including the PATHFINDERS 4 Main Event coming later in the year. According to the release, the Step Up initiative will be launched with the goal of ‘providing product support for developing teams and players in the space’ with finer details soon to follow.

This announcement continues a busy month of collaborations for Logitech G. The sub-brand of leading hardware brand Logitech also recently revealed a new partnership with Swiss esports organisation Team BDS to provide peripherals for the side.
