North American esports organisation TSM has announced a merchandise collaboration with popular anime Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

The new merchandise collection, dubbed Chapter 1, features apparel and gaming accessories. This includes co-branded t-shirts, headwear and a gaming mousepad.

According to a release, Chapter 1 looks to introduce fans to the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood world through key imagery and symbolism, whilst still sticking to TSM’s black-and-white colour palette. The merchandise collection is available now on the organisation’s online store.

Airing from 2009 to 2010, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a widely popular show amongst anime fandom. Despite its age, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is currently the highest-rated show on anime social networking website MyAnimeList.

Anime and esports collaborations have become somewhat of a common occurrence over the last few years, with multiple organisations launching merchandise featuring popular anime IPs. In fact this time last year, TSM teamed up with anime streaming site Crunchyroll to launch My Hero Academia merchandise.

Other notable anime and esports collaborations include 100 Thieves and Dragon Ball, Team Liquid and Naruto, and Crunchyroll teaming up with fighting game showcase EVO 2023.

Outside of the partnerships sphere, TSM has undergone a major shift to its competitive esports division. After being a member of North America’s tier-one League of Legends scene for over a decade, the organisation recently sold its LCS franchise spot to Shopify Rebellion. Whilst TSM has previously stated that it aims to move to another region for its League of Legends division, there has been no announcement as of this writing.

Earlier this month, two previous employees of TSM — 3D Graphic Designer Niki Carver and Published owner Fez — announced on social media that they had been laid off by the organisation.
