UK-based esports organisation Guild Esports has appointed Glynn Jones as the Director of Agency Partnerships for Guild Studios, the organisation’s in-house production and creative service division.

Jones has over 13 years of experience working with a number of agencies and clients across the digital industry.

Jones joins Guild Esports after seven years as the Agency Partnerships Lead for Snap, Inc., the company that operates social media platform Snapchat. Additionally, he has gained experience in the advertising and client management spaces in previous roles, such as Social Media Manager for media network Starcom, where he worked with the likes of Samsung and PlayStation.

As Director of Agency Partnerships for Guild Esports’ Guild Studios, Jones will work to identify new opportunities for the organisation to engage with its audience through new verticals and its existing platforms.

Founded in February 2023, Guild Studios offers a range of production and marketing services to stakeholders within the esports industry. Samsung, an existing sponsor of Guild Esports, was one of the first brands to receive services via the studios.

The appointment of Jones is the second hire for the esports organisation in 2024. In January, Guild appointed Paul Kingsley as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Company Secretary.

On Glynn Jones’ hire, Jasmine Skee, CEO of Guild Esports, commented: “I’d like to extend a warm welcome to Glynn as he joins the Guild family.

“His experience in digital marketing and media sales garnered over his 13-year career across advertising, marketing and social media will make him a great asset to Guild Studios as we identify new ways to engage Gen Z authentically.”

Guid Esports is a publicly-traded esports organisation co-owned by football superstar David Beckham. The organisation launched globally in 2020 and went public on the London Stock Exchange shortly after.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
