London-based esports management company NIVO has launched a High Performance Division in partnership with private consultancy company The Edge HPL.

The deal will see both parties join forces to create a programme that aims to assist esports athletes reach their full potential.

According to a release, NIVO and The Edge HPL will provide its clients with an educational programme that focuses on ‘the challenges faced by esports professionals’. Moreover, the division will utilise science and nutrition to enhance in-game performance and overall quality of life.

The creation of the NIVO High Performance Division marks The Edge HPL‘s first foray into the esports industry. The company has worked with Formula One drivers, professional footballers and organisations including Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains to improve performance.

The programme will last six months with participants learning about various areas of performance including sleep, hydration, and preparation for travelling to events. HIVO states the programme will ‘set new standards within the esports industry.’

Founded in 2021 by MDR Brand Management, NIVO has built a client portfolio featuring esports athletes and coaching staff across several titles including VALORANT, Rocket League, and Counter-Strike. Notably, the company’s clientele list features Nikita ‘Derke’ Sirmitev (Fnatic), Vivian ‘roxi’ Schilling (G2 Gozen), Jack ‘ApparentlyJack’ Benton (Gen.G) and Leo ‘Leo’ Jannesson (Fnatic).

Tom Murray, Founder and CEO of NIVO, spoke on the creation of the division: “We are delighted to be working with The Edge HPL on this exciting collaboration.

“We believe that esports athletes should receive the same level of holistic support as Premier League footballers, World Champion boxers and Formula 1 drivers, and improving education on how to maximise performance both on and off the server is an essential component of this.”

  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
