The 2024 edition of the Mobile Gaming Awards (Mobies) will take place in London this summer, event organisers have announced.

The ceremony will take place sometime in August 2024, with the exact dates still unknown. The organisers revealed that new award categories will be added this year, with more information to come.

Going into its second year, the Mobies is an awards show focused on mobile gaming and esports. It was founded by the team behind awards event organiser Esports Awards, alongside mobile esports veteran Matt Rutledge.

The inaugural edition of the Mobies took place in 2023 in Los Angeles, California, and saw the likes of S8ul Esports and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang get awarded, along with the mobile game Marvel Snap and mobile content creators and players.

This year, the awards show will move to the United Kingdom, but few details were shared apart from the month and the general location, which will be somewhere in London. This is similar to the last year’s edition, which was announced in December 2022 but the dates and location were not confirmed until April. The Mobies 2023 took place in July.

The 2024 edition will take place over two days, with the first day reserved for a conference and the second one focused on the awards themselves. No partners have been announced as of right now, but last year’s event was supported by Mobile Global Esports as its official partner.

Matt Rutledge, Co-founder of the Mobies, commented: “We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Mobies for its second ceremony, this time set to take place in the gaming capital of the UK, London.

“Last year was such an exciting time, working with brilliant minds to bring the first Mobies ceremony to life. In a world where the mobile industry continues to shape our daily lives, it’s crucial to honour those driving the industry’s innovation and progress.”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
