VALORANT Esports EMEA, Riot Games’ regional VALORANT circuit, has named payment platform Paysafe as its main partner.

As a result, the two parties will collaborate across VCT EMEA and VALORANT Game Changers EMEA competitions until the end of 2025.

As a main partner, Paysafe’s paysafecard solution will be integrated into broadcasts and the Riot Games Arena in Berlin. Fans attending the arena will have access to special promotions and the ability to pay for purchases using the solution.

In addition, Riot Games and Paysafe will collaborate on an in-game segment known as ‘Thrifty’ to highlight teams that win rounds against opponents who have invested more into the round. Alongside the segment, paysafecard will present a content series for the VCT EMEA Stage 2 Grand Finals featuring short-form content, predictions and match highlights.

2025 marks a year of change for several VALORANT Esports EMEA competitions. In June 2024, Riot Games announced updates to the Challengers format along with the addition of Italy and Portugal to the Challengers Spain: Rising competition.

Paysafe is no stranger to collaborating with VALORANT Esports EMEA. The two parties first partnered in August 2021 where paysafecard presented the ‘Player of the Match’ segment during Playoffs and the Last Change Qualifier.

Daniel Ringland, Head of VALORANT Esports EMEA, spoke on the deal: “paysafecard is very popular among the gaming community, so we’re delighted to introduce Paysafe to VALORANT Esports EMEA fans.

“We’re always looking to enhance the experience of our fans, and by partnering with Paysafe across two of our VALORANT Esports EMEA products, we believe we can offer a better, safer and more seamless payment experience to our community.”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
