Esports coaching platform Omnic.AI (Omnic) has announced a partnership with scholastic esports platform PlayVS.

The expansive deal will see both companies work together on bringing Omnic’s AI-powered game analysis and coaching platform to PlayVS partners and communities, enabling students to improve their skills.

Omnic.AI is an AI platform that uses machine learning to try and help players get better at games. Omnic Forge, the company’s flagship product, analyses footage from games, uses AI algorithms to determine problem areas in performance and then offers improvement advice to gamers. The platform is available for VALORANT, Fortnite, Rocket League and Overwatch 2, with Madden support expected soon.

The partnership with PlayVS, North America’s largest scholastic esports platform, will enable students to access Omnic Forge for free and receive insights after matches. According to the two companies, the students will also match with pro players who share their style. Lastly, PlayVS will also assist in training Omnic Forge AI through its coaches.

Jon Chapman, the CEO of PlayVS, commented: “Teaming up with Omnic.AI represents a significant leap forward in how we support and develop young gamers. Their innovative technology will help our community refine their skills and stand out among other gamers, empowering them to continue to refine their craft and reach new heights in and out of the world of esports.”

PlayVS has had an interesting 2024. The company has recently partnered with NFL for the Madden NFL Youth Championship and has also expanded to middle schools earlier this year, ahead of its Fall 2024 season. The latter announcement has enabled more than 30,000 extra schools to participate in PlayVS competitions this year. Despite criticism for its business practices in 2022, PlayVS has since turned things around and offered its platform free of charge to schools in the United States.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
