North American esports organisation Sentinels has announced peripherals brand Razer as a presenting partner for the Sen City Classic.

Commencing November 1st, the Sen City Classic is a VCT OFF//SEASON event that features the likes of Sentinels, Cloud9, Evil Geniuses and NRG.

Not much detail has been revealed about the new partnerships, however, Sentinels has teased ‘an exciting announcement’ between both brands during the event.

The deal also seems to coincide with Sentinels’ current year-long partnership with Razer, signed in June 2024. In the original deal, the Razer Iskur V2 gaming chair was named as the official gaming chair for Sentinels.

Alongside featuring prominent talent, Sentinels’ three-day event will also have a $20,000 (~£15,400) prize pool. The tournament will be hosted by Sentinels streamer Tarik Celik and will be available to watch via his Twitch channel as well as on Sentinels’ YouTube channel. Moreover, Sentinels has opened up possibilities for other content creators to co-stream the event by contacting the organisation.

Members of the Sen Society Fan Club, Sentinels’ fan experience, have also gained the opportunity to purchase tickets for the off-season event.

Sentinels are among a whole host of esports stakeholders that are holding VALORANT off-season events prior to the 2025 competitive season. This includes the upcoming Red Bull Home Ground (EMEA), Convergence 2024 (Pacific) and Shanghai Esports Masters (China) events. The 2025 competitive VALORANT season is set to commence in January.

In 2024, Sentinels continues to showcase its popularity in the VALORANT ecosystem. Alongside hosting an off-season event, the organisation won the VCT 2024: Americas Kickoff and Masters Madrid. Moreover, in August, Riot Games unveiled that Sentinels was the region’s top-selling VCT in-game capsule.
