Esports organisation Fnatic has entered a partnership with esports betting company Rivalry.gg.

As part of this partnership, the two parties will produce content which is geared towards educating fans about betting responsibly.

Wouter Sleijffers, CEO of Fnatic said the following in a statement: “We’re excited to have found a partner in Rivalry.gg, who are passionate about esports and competition as we are. Watching and following your favourite teams and players can be enjoyed in different ways and Rivarly.gg is adding to that experience. And for the eligible Fnatic fans it just provides another opportunity to benefit from our winning teams!”

As this partnership develops over time, various content series and other collaborations between Fnatic and Rivalry.gg will be released. In the announcement, it was stated that the two parties “align as brands and share the same belief that esports betting should be exciting and enjoyable, but also safe and responsible.”

Kevin Wimer, Co-founder of Rivalry also touched on the partnership: “We are incredibly excited to be partnering with an esports pioneer like Fnatic, and look forward to working with Wouter and the team to elevate the experience of esports matches for fans. Esports continues to grow rapidly, and as such the demands of fans are changing.

“Rivalry.gg has been designed to adapt to this change by creating a platform that adds to the excitement of gameday, while doing so in a responsible and regulated fashion. Betting is here to stay, and at Rivalry our goal is to meet the demand with an incredible product while staying true to our roots and supporting the community along the way.”

Fnatic is also partnered with Chillblast, Deezer, Ballistix, Monster Energy, DXRacer, Newzoo, Strafe, AMD, and DreamTeam. Earlier this month, Rivalry.gg entered a partnership with journalist, host, and analyst Richard Lewis.

Esports Insider says: Organisations and teams partnering with betting websites is rather common in the industry as it stands, and the content Rivalry plans to produce with Fnatic sounds exactly like the messaging Richard Lewis is using to promote the service. This may mean Fnatic’s betting content and wording won’t be particularly unique, but at least it’s promoting something positive.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
