European esports organisation Team Secret has found an official gaming chair partner in Secretlab.

As part of this newly-announced deal, the two parties have collaborated on branded gaming chairs which are based off of Secretlab’s OMEGA 2018 and TITAN models. These chairs are available for purchase by fans of the brand.

John Yao, CEO of Team Secret discussed the partnership: “Whenever we look for new partners, we follow a very simple philosophy—our teams have to believe in the products and services we are helping to promote. I can say without a doubt that all of Team Secret’s professional teams and players are looking forward to the partnership with Secretlab—they make some of the best chairs on the market that players have tested both at home and at tournaments. The chairs are fully adjustable for the habits of every player, and extremely comfortable for long sessions in front of the computer. Honestly we would have probably supplied these chairs to our teams even outside of a partnership.”

Team Secret is gearing up to compete in The International 2018, a prestigious annual Dota 2 tournament where 18 teams will be battling it out for a share of the prize pool – which is currently sitting at over $24 million (£18.8 million).

Ian Alexander Ang, Co-founder and CEO of Secretlab added: “As former competitive gamers ourselves, it gives us no greater joy than to provide Team Secret’s professional players with hours of seated comfort – notably their Dota 2 team as they’re preparing hard for TI8 – while working alongside a brand whose namesake resonates with the global audience as well with ours. With a massive, common international fanbase between us, it was also a no-brainer to put up the Team Secret custom-edition chairs on our store for our fans.”

To celebrate the launch of the partnership and the branded chairs, Team Secret is hosting a social media giveaway.

Team Secret is also partnered with CORSAIR, Uwin, GNation, NVIDIA, Meta Threads, and Twitch. Secretlab is a sponsor of Tempo Storm, Newbee, and tournament organiser PGL.

Esports Insider says: While the Team Secret branded chairs don’t look all that different from the original models besides the use of the logo and white accents, it’s a good way for fans of the organisation to represent and support the team. Team Secret is now building up quite a varied list of partners, which seems like a good move.

  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
