Liquipedia is calling on esports fans to vote on their favourite organisation logo in a lighthearted tournament starting today.

The esports community loves making goofs and gaffes on April Fools’ Day, leading to some silly events and activities amongst the pranks. This includes the Liquipedia Ultimate Logo Series, which Liquipedia is calling the ‘most important’ esports tournament ‘the world has ever seen.’

There will be 64 team logos in the tournament, battling for the title of the ‘best’ and most ‘amazing, fantastic’ logo in a single elimination bracket. Two teams will be paired up — the one with the most votes from the community will move forward, knocking the other out.

Liquipedia Ultimate Logo Series Match Predictions

Early on, there are some clear contenders to keep an eye on. It’s still early days, but Team Liquid is currently a team to watch. It’s winning 82-18 against TSM in the first round, likely due to a very iconic and bold logo with a rich history and deep meaning.

However, Fnatic is a possible sleeper pick with 82% in its matchup against REJECT. Virtus.pro is also showing major potential this season. Its currently at 77% and doesn’t seem to be letting up on EDward Gaming. 100 Thieves and Cloud9 are catching up as well, although these matchups have less votes at the moment. Still, these teams could really upset the teams at the top depending how the first round goes.
