VCT EMEA has announced a playtest competition for VALORANT fans in collaboration with payments platform PaysafeCard.

The initiative will allow one lucky winner and their duo to participate in a playtest on-stage ahead of the VCT EMEA Stage 2 Grand Final.

In addition to the playtest experience, the prize includes a private backstage tour with the Riot Games team and meet-and-greet opportunities. The winning duo will be able to watch the Grand Final via VIP seats. Flights and accommodation are also covered for the two.

VCT EMEA Stage 1 kicked off on March 26th and will conclude on May 18th at the Riot Games Arena in Berlin, Germany.

The second regional event in the VALORANT 2025 esports calendar has been criticised for its outdated PCs and equipment, leading to frequent and prolonged tech pauses. However, Riot Games has since addressed community and player concerns by upgrading some of the equipment at the arena.

While other VCT regions, such as China and Americas, have already crowned their Stage 1 champions, EMEA has yet to start its Playoffs phase tomorrow. With eight teams remaining, fans can only speculate which team will face off in the best-of-five (BO5) Grand Final and who will emerge among the top three to qualify for Masters Toronto in June.

How to Enter the Contest

As part of the ongoing partnership between VCT EMEA and Paysafe, a PaysafeCard account is required to enter the competition. Fans must be logged into their account and click ‘enter’ on the competition banner or in the email they receive.

They can register for the contest by answering the following question:

Which of the following is a weapon in VALORANT?

  1. Vandal
  2. Blaster
  3. Pulse Rifle

Afterwards, every transaction of €10 or more on Riot Games using Paysafe will boost an entry’s chance to win. It has yet to be revealed when the winner will be drawn. More information can be found on the dedicated PaySafe Card webpage.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
