Selangor Red Giants OG Esports (SRG) has become the first team to book its place in the MPL Malaysia Season 15 Grand Final.

The Malaysian esports team, backed by European organisation OG Esports, defeated AERO Esports and Homebois during the first phase of the league’s playoffs.

The victories in the playoffs are a continuation of Selangor Red Giants’ impressive run of form in Season 15 of MPL Malaysia. The defending champions remain undefeated and are on the verge of winning a third MPL Malaysia title.

If it achieves victory in the Grand Final, it will be the only team to win back-to-back domestic Mobile Legends: Bang Bang championships.

“SRG have once again proven with their clinical performances why they are the benchmark of excellence and Malaysia’s most popular esports team,” said Fikri Rizal Mahruddin, Malaysia Esports Lead at MOONTON Games.

“The resulting high-performance environment has clearly taken their world-class players and coaching staff to the next level. There is every reason to believe that they will mount a historic title defence.”

Having already secured a place in the Grand Final, SRG has locked a place at the MLBB Mid-Season Cup, taking place as part of the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from June 14th to 15th.

MPL Malaysia’s Continued Success

With SRG on the verge of achieving MLBB history, MPL Malaysia’s Season 15 Grand Final has the potential to build on the foundations laid from Season 14.

Season 14 garnered peak viewing figures of 812,911 according to esports data platform Esports Charts, breaking the previous record held by Season 13.

Outside of the league, MOONTON Games has continued to expand its presence within Malaysia. In May, the developer and publisher signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Malaysia Esports Federation to develop two teams set to compete at the 2025 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.

We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
